Regency's Grand Ridge Plaza, a 330K+ SF shopping center located in Washington's Issaquah Highlands, is connecting to its communities with free on-site WiFi hotspots, provided by DragNFly Wireless and in partnership with Highlands Fiber Network. Since recently launching, the outdoor “WiFi Cafés” have supplied WiFi to nearly 233 users, with an average use time of 49 minutes.
A modern, grocery-anchored outdoor shopping, dining, and gathering hub featuring more than 50 diverse food, entertainment, and lifestyle retailers; Grand Ridge Plaza is Issaquah’s first commercial asset to offer public WiFi. To coincide with the launch, the community was encouraged to enter a sweepstakes for three prize packs valued at $900, featuring an AT&T LTE Mobile Hotspot Router, and gift cards to AT&T and Grand Ridge Plaza.
We are incredibly excited to connect with, and add value to, the Issaquah Highlands and Grand Ridge Plaza communities in this exciting, new way,” said Bret Walton, Senior Regional Property Manager. We hope these WiFi hotspots bring added convenience and accessibility to our customers, merchants, and neighbors — whether they’re plugging in to work remotely, study for an exam, or video chat with a loved one.
The shopping center’s two new hotspots are located at Community Pillars (next to Regal Cinemas), and Grand Ridge Plaza Park (across from Marshalls). Grand Ridge Plaza is located at 1451 Highlands Dr NE and features a variety of merchants including Regal Cinemas, Safeway, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Marshalls, newly expanded Mod Super Fast Pizza, AT&T, Orangetheory Fitness, Home Goods, Kumon Math & Reading Center, Ben & Jerry’s, and more.
