The Issaquah Highlands, WA community gathered in celebration of the annual Highlands Day Festival at Grand Ridge Plaza on August 24. This year’s "GAME ON!" theme encouraged guests to “insert coin, press start and enter” the community arcade-inspired festivities, featuring fun-for-the-whole-family activities including retro arcade games, pinball, driving games, virtual reality games and more.

The event went off without a hitch due to support from more than 65 community sponsors including the City of Issaquah, Safeway, Harborstone Credit Union, Highlands Dentistry and Grand Ridge Plaza. Additional activities included a Super Slide, Star Defender Bounce House, Jumbo Horseshoes and Cornhole, Human Foosball and Billiards, a Wrecking Ball and Dunk Tank. Guests of all ages enjoyed vendor booths, prizes, giveaways, and on-site food trucks as well as Grand Ridge Plaza dining options including Mod Super Fast Pizza and Big Fish Grill. To add to the fun, guests were encouraged to come dressed as their favorite arcade or video game character.
