Serving up true Mexican dishes with Rocky Mountain flair in a whopping 9,500 SF space, [Hacienda Colorado](https://haciendacolorado.com/) opened its doors Tuesday at Regency’s [Applewood Village](https://www.regencycenters.com/property/detail/90020/Applewood-Village) shopping center. Adorned with festive, contemporary hacienda architecture and decor, the Hacienda Colorado franchise began in Lakewood, CO — and after an overwhelming response from the community — has since expanded to Lone Tree, Westminster, Colorado Springs and most recently, Wheat Ridge.

A meal at Hacienda can include anything from Pikes Peak nachos, tortilla soup and mountain mex salad, to Colorado changa, fire-grilled street tacos and chipotle baby back ribs. The menu is extensive and caters to all tastes. And because every Mountain Mex® meal deserves a side of tequila, Hacienda offers 12 signature margaritas plus beer, wine, sangria and non-alcoholic options. For larger parties, Hacienda also offers group dining reservations and catering opportunities.

> Hacienda is the market leader in Colorado for their top-tier Mexican Food," said [Tricia Freeman](https://www.regencycenters.com/employee/9903/Tricia-Freeman), Senior Leasing Agent. "Their strong brand, quality food and first-class build-out made them a natural fit for our redevelopment at Applewood Village Shopping Center. We are thrilled to bring their concept to the community for all to enjoy.

Applewood Village is situated in a high-traffic area with visibility from I-70, with a residential population of 226,000+ within a five-mile radius. Anchored by [PetSmart](http://www.petsmart.com), [King Soopers](http://www.kingsoopers.com), [Ulta](http://www.ulta.com), [Sierra Trading Post](http://www.sierratradingpost.com), [Homegoods](http://www.homegoods.com) and [Hobby Lobby](http://www.hobbylobby.com), it’s also home to [Orangetheory Fitness](http://www.orangetheory.com), [Chilis](https://www.chilis.com/), [Starbucks](https://www.starbucks.com/), [Chipotle Mexican Grill](http://www.chipotle.com) and [Jersey Mike’s Subs](http://www.jerseymikes.com).
