The high end department store announced plans to open a freestanding shoe store in Greenwich, Conn., on East Elm St. According to [WWD](http://0-wwd.com.library.academyart.edu/accessories-news/footwear/saks-fifth-avenue-shoe-10193150/), The famous 10022-Shoe department at the Sak's Manhattan flagship store, which has since been reproduced in 19 other Saks store locations, is expected to open its own gilded doors in the fall of 2016. The 14,000-square-foot space in Greenwich is right around the corner from an existing Saks Fifth Avenue store that carries women's apparel, accessories and beauty exclusively.
