Dirty Dough Cookies at Twin Peaks

At Twin Peaks, guests can soon indulge in a cookie experience like no other. Dirty Dough Cookies, which is slated to open this month, brings a unique menu of cookies that are engineered from the inside out. Each recipe features a combination of layers, mix-ins, or filling within the dough, giving the cookies a unique flavor profile and trademark gooey texture.
Dirty Dough was founded in a dorm room kitchen in Tempe, AZ, but is quickly spreading across the country with franchise locations from Alabama to Utah. San Diego cookie lovers will soon be able to experience the buzz for themselves.
Classics include the Brookie (layers of brownie and chocolate cookie filled and drizzled with caramel sauce), the Reverse (fudge filling wrapped in layers of chocolate and peanut butter cookies, and topped with a chocolate drizzle and crushed Reese’s), and Cookies-n-Cream (a vanilla cookie loaded with Oreo cookie chunks and stuffed with a creme filling).

Scripps Ranch Marketplace is set to welcome HINAR Dessert Bar & Café, a unique dessert bar and coffee shop that stays open until 9 p.m. Following the success of its flagship store in San Diego’s Gaslamp Quarter, HINAR is set to open a second location at Scripps Ranch by the end of this year.
Inspired by their experiences in Europe and the Middle East, husband-and-wife Bêrîvan and Çeko Kurd identified a niche waiting to be filled in San Diego’s culinary landscape: a cozy spot where you can unwind with a latte or indulge in desserts until late into the evening. Since opening, the café has garnered an impressive social media audience, amassing 24.6k Instagram followers in just over a year.
HINAR features a full espresso bar with signature drinks like orange blossom and vanilla lattes, as well as a variety of teas. Their selection of beautifully crafted desserts includes tiramisu, black sesame cake, macarons, and a cheesecake inspired by the Basque region of Spain.
