Preparing Kid-Friendly Christmas Holiday Goodie Bags for families in need by making a list of personal hygiene items, snacks, and gender neutral toys, taking our list to the Westlake Plaza, and finding the perfect items at Vons and other Westlake retail locations. This a great way to spend quality family time and help those in need! A great way to show the holiday spirit!

Materials:

Hygiene Items
- Tooth Brushes
- Hair Brushes
- Body Wipes
- Hand Sanitzers

Snacks
- Hard Candy
- Holiday Cookies
- Chocolates

Gender Neutral Toys
- Game Boards
- Coloring Books and Crayons
- Small Cartoon Figurines

Step 1

Make your list of items that you will need for your goodie bags.

Step 2

Go to the Westlake Plaza to buy the items on your list. Each family member can pick at least one gender neutral toy to go into the each into each of the bags. Then stop at one of the food locations to wind down after your day of finding the items on your list. Finally, get some holiday sweet to take home and enjoy while you put your bags together.

Step 3

Head home and start putting your bags together! Get in the Christmas spirit by playing some Christmas music and reward yourself with your cupcake treats.

Step 4

It’s time to spread your holiday cheer! Take you goodie bags to your favorite charities or shelters so they can be given to kids from families in need.
