Classic staples, vibrant colors, bold prints…Brooklyn Station on Riverside just got a little more fashionable with the introduction of its newly signed tenant, The Pink Nickel.
The Pink Nickel was founded in 2009, by Angela Widener. The boutique offers a broad selection of clothing and accessories at affordable price points, bringing you the most desirable, hot-off-the-runway boutique pieces.
“At Brooklyn Station on Riverside we are creating an environment where each hand-selected retailer provides a unique shopping experience for the Downtown, Riverside, San Marco and other surrounding areas,” says Patrick McKinley, Senior Leasing Agent “The Pink Nickel will offer shoppers a knowledgeable support staff, welcoming buildout and products that cater to local customers.”
The family owned and operated business currently operates a store in Julington Creek; the owners had been looking for another location for the past year.
“We were paying close attention to our customers on Facebook, they wanted us to be closer to where they lived. We have been asked to open at the beaches and the Riverside/San Marco area. We didn't feel the Five Points area needed another Boutique. My husband (Ben) heard about the Brooklyn Station location and we decided to take a drive one Sunday afternoon to check this potential location out for ourselves. I can honestly say that it felt like home. I was shocked at the 'awesomeness' of the Fresh Market!” said Julie Widener, of The Pink Nickel
Perfectly situated along the same corridor as tenants such as The Fresh Market, Lucy's Boutique, Marilyn Monroe Nails and the Hair Cuttery, The Pink Nickel will offer shoppers a fashion apparel element
“We started looking for the open spaces and peered through glass to see what we could see. We felt total peace and took steps to get more information about leasing space. How could this not be a good move for The Pink Nickel? New apartments, restaurants and high-rise buildings with successful businesses all around. We all felt that this was a ground breaking opportunity that we didn't want to miss out on,” continues Julie
In fact, the retailer has started campaigning on social media to inform followers and get them energized about the new store opening.
Shopping at this boutique is a relaxing, peaceful experience. The owners believe in making customers feel welcomed and special. So, welcome to the Brooklyn Station neighborhood, The Pink Nickel, we look forward to your opening!
The Pink Nickel is scheduled to open April, 2014. For more leasing opportunities at Brooklyn Station on Riverside, please contact Patrick McKinley at PatrickMcKinley@regencycenters.com or 904-598-7468.
