As social distancing regulations remain active, businesses across the Regency portfolio continue to implement creative new ways to ensure the safety of their customers. When it comes to navigating this “new normal” within the luxury fitness industry in particular, barre3 at Regency’s Brighten Park in Atlanta, GA is paving the way.
Currently offering updated amenities including lower in-studio capacity, sanitization and live-streamed classes, the full-body workout studio — which combines strength conditioning, cardio and mindfulness — is also moving its weekend classes outdoors. Alternating between nearby parks and its very own parking lot, these classes were created to provide spaced out workouts with plenty of breathing room. Supported by Lidl — who is located next door and graciously supplies water bottles — these weekend classes perfectly showcase what it means to have a powerful local community.
Community is of the utmost importance to barre3 Druid Hills, and we want to meet clients where they are,” said Tara Craighead, Studio Owner. “During these hard times, that requires thinking outside the box and getting creative. We began doing outdoor classes to offer an option for various comfort levels. It's been wonderful to be able to move with more people while collaborating with Regency and other stores in our shopping center. It shows the true strength of our community during these hard times. We need to support each other!
