Regency Recognized Among 'Best Places to Work' by Jax Business Journal

Written by Regency Centers | Dec 1

Regency Centers is proud to have recently been recognized as one of the top ten Best Places to Work by the Jacksonville Business Journal in the ‘Large Businesses’ category. Released annually, the list calculates employee responses from all companies who participate in Quantum Workplace’s annual employee engagement survey, accounting for factors including perks, leadership, office space, culture, and more.

Having lived our values for nearly 60 years, Regency is especially proud of our placement on this year’s list, which speaks to our commitment to fostering an exceptional company culture, despite this collectively challenging time. In addition to our new flexible (hybrid) work schedule that includes comprehensive work from home kits, some of the benefits reflected by our Best Places to Work score of 87.03 this year are as as follows:

WORK/LIFE BALANCE

Employees are offered 23 days of paid time off to start, along with 11 paid holidays, parental leave, compassion leave, bereavement leave, and military leave.

HEALTH & WELLNESS:

Regency’s benefit programs are centered around total, comprehensive wellness for our employees and their families to live well, work well, and be well. We focus on physical, emotional, financial and community health and wellness when designing benefits for our team. These include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a variety of pre-tax reimbursement accounts including a Health Savings Account, and a robust wellbeing program to employees and their spouses, in partnership with Virgin Pulse.

FINANCIAL SECURITY:

Regency’s 401(k) plan matches 100% on all deferrals up to $5,000 maximum per year, and offers an annual profit-sharing contribution. Full-time employees are offered fully company-paid group term life insurance/AD&D, short and long-term disability insurance, and voluntary benefits including supplemental life insurance/AD&D, accident insurance, critical illness, hospital indemnity, and identity theft protection. Stock grants are also awarded on several employee anniversaries.

PHILANTHROPY & GIVING:

Regency has partnered with United Way for many decades as its largest community effort at a national level, in addition to supporting local organizations like HabiJax, the YMCA, and more. We support these organizations through annual fundraising campaigns, ongoing volunteering, and more. Each employee is permitted to donate up to 52 volunteer hours annually, and individual gifts can be matched up to $2,500.

Our employees also select up to three organizations to receive a one-time gift, based on proposals we receive from applicants during our annual ouRCommunities campaign. Regency supports causes that are important to our employees in each of the markets we serve. In 2021, we focused our campaign on efforts that advance Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.

We are proud to be recognized as one of the Top 10 Best Places to Work in Northeast Florida this year, alongside so many other wonderful employers in our community” said Amy D’Olimpio, Senior Vice President, Human Resources. “Now more than ever, we are committed to growing our best-in-class culture and benefits programs for our people, who are our greatest asset.
