The Crossing Clarendon Heats Up With SoulFire Collective Yoga Studio

Written by Regency Centers | Sep 27

Coming soon to Regency’s The Crossing Clarendon, SoulFire Collective, a hot yoga studio concept, will open the doors to its third location in Arlington, VA, later this year.

Owners Brooke and Kat Wyman are a married couple who went into business together seven years ago. The duo purchased an existing studio in Rehoboth Beach, DE, and transformed the space into what is now SoulFire Collective. By popular demand within their community, they expanded to Bethesda, MD, just a few months later. Their location at The Crossing Clarendon is slated to open in Q4 of 2023.

We wanted to open spaces where people could be themselves, connect with others, and feel safe, seen, heard,” said Kat Wyman, SoulFire Collective Owner. “Arlington is the fitness capital of the country, so The Crossing Clarendon became the next inevitable stop on this journey.

SoulFire Collective specializes in a power-vinyasa style of yoga, but classes offer students the freedom to make the practice their own. With dark lights, upbeat music, and no mirrors in sight, the “high-vibe” atmosphere helps students focus on how they feel rather than how they look. Students are encouraged to trust their intuition, move at their own pace, and take whatever modifications they need that day — a departure from more traditional styles of yoga that emphasize precision and posture.

Arlington was recently named ‘America's Fittest City’ for its 6th consecutive year, making The Crossing Clarendon the perfect location for SoulFire Collective,” said April Laney, Senior Leasing Agent. “SoulFire will join a well-rounded merchandising mix that makes our center the ideal shopping destination for anyone who prioritizes their health and wellness, at any stage of their fitness journey.

Situated on one of the best shopping streets in Arlington — and just steps from the metro — The Crossing Clarendon is an iconic 10-acre hub serving the Washington-Arlington-Alexandria market. The 419,950 SF property features an iconic mix of health and wellness-focused merchants including Whole Foods, Lululemon, Life Time Fitness, and Corobus Sports.
