Recently, Regency hosted Urban Land Institute’s Real Estate Graduate Study Mentorship Program with a tour at The Village at Riverstone shopping center in Houston, TX. Dedicated to providing leadership in the responsible use of land in order to create and sustain thriving communities worldwide, Urban Land Institute (ULI) members represent every segment of the real estate development community, from property owners and investors, to students and interns.
In partnership with Johnson Development Corp and led by Regency’s Abe Pacetti, this tour was part of a month-long series of weekly learning experiences covering a variety of real estate topics in and around Houston. From walking around the shopping center’s placemaking areas to learning about how master planned communities utilize experiential retail to connect with consumers, the tour was predominantly attended by students from various universities in the Houston area.
The mission of the Graduate Study Mentorship Program is to provide an opportunity for Graduate Students currently in a real estate program or related field to join experienced ULI Members and real estate leaders to connect, grow, and create lasting relationships by sharing their knowledge and experiences.
It was an absolute honor to share The Village at Riverstone’s story with ULI’s Real Estate Graduate Study Mentorship Program,” said Abe Pacetti, Vice President, Investments. “At Regency, we’re always looking for ways to provide resources and mentorship opportunities to students interested in pursuing careers in the industry.
A Kroger-anchored development servicing Riverstone and one of the fastest growing communities in Texas, The Village at Riverstone is also home to key retailers including Mod Super Fast Pizza, Hospitality Urgent Care, Orangetheory Fitness, and Yoga Six, etc.
