From NBA champions to championing a new woodfired pizza restaurant in Miami, Udonis Haslem and Dwyane Wade recently joined forces with chef Anthony Carron to open 800 Degrees Woodfired Kitchen in Aventura. This is big news as their location is the the first in Florida. 800 Degrees has eateries worldwide — in bustling Dubai, Tokyo, and Los Angeles — and now in sunny Miami.
I’m not aware of any other professional athletes more ingrained into the Miami community than Dwayne Wade and Udonis Haslem, so to hear they were opening a restaurant in Miami was exciting news,” said Gabe Gonzalez, Leasing Agent. "The restaurant features a blend of Italian & American dishes, including wood-fired pizzas and a 'Dwade' burger, salads, pastas and fish. 800 Degrees is the perfect spot for a business meeting or to just hang out and watch the Miami Heat play on the giant flat screen TVs outside and around the bar.
The menu ranges from grass-fed meatballs to 800-degree woodfired pizzas to a woodfired burger and specialty oven-baked pasta. Both Wade and Haslem have signature menu items named after them.
The 4,000 SF Miami restaurant offers tableside service and can accommodate up to 125 guests. This is the duo's first restaurant venture under their joint company, Forty-Three.
