New TJX Companies' HomeSense Store Opens at Northborough Crossing

Just outside bustling Boston off Route 9 and Route 20 is Wegmans-anchored Northborough Crossing — the fourth Massachusetts location to house TJX Companies' latest home store concept, HomeSense. The 20,000 SF store opened its sliding doors last week.

An ever-changing display of both practical and whimsical home goods, coupled with no two stores being exactly alike gives way to the shopping experience. Seasonal decor is also a large draw.

The company's headquarters is nearby in Farmington, MA. Sister store TJMaxx also has a location at Northborough Crossing. (The TJX Companies owns TJMaxx, HomeGoods, Sierra Trading Post, HomeSense and Marshalls) The company plans to open 400 additional stores in the coming years and sees the brand as an enormous growth opportunity.

"We are thrilled to have Regency Centers' first HomeSense," said David Sherin, Senior Leasing Agent. "HomeSense is the perfect addition to Northborough Crossing, and it complements the many other high-traffic, destination retailers including Wegmans, TJ Maxx, Kohls, BJ’s Wholesale Club, Dick's Sporting Goods, PetSmart and Michaels."
