Northborough Crossing Welcomes Kumar’s South Indian Village Cuisine

“Farm-to-table,” “traditional” and “authentic” are just a ways one might use to describe Kumar’s South Indian Village Cuisine, an authentic southern Indian-inspired restaurant franchise. Serving up fresh, organic ingredients and “village” cuisine straight from its south Indian roots, Kumar’s opened its flagship restaurant in Dallas in 2015, and has recently made its way north to Massachusetts, where it opened its doors at Northborough Crossing in October 2019.

Prepared without food coloring, MSG or pre-packaged ingredients, Kumar’s fare — including farm-raised chicken, fresh meat and live seafood — is delivered to patrons the right way: on a banana leaf! From soups and curries to small plates, plenty of vegan options, sweets and specialty drinks, the menu has something for everyone, and prides itself on quality service to top it all off.
