1000+ Guests Celebrate Annual Santa's Arrival at Serramonte Center

Last weekend, the Daly City, CA community gathered at Regency's Serramonte Center for the annual holiday celebration of Santa's Arrival in partnership with the Daly City Fire Department. The highly anticipated family-friendly festivities began outside the shopping center, where more than 300 children gathered for Santa’s grand entrance by fire engine before parading through the mall as a group, sing-along style, beginning at the Target wing. The “Santa’s helpers” event theme featured a host of goodies and activities including a complimentary t-shirt, elf ears, jingle bell necklaces and more. Santa waving from the front of a fire truck at Serramonte Center

Marie Villarosa HeadshotThis year’s Santa’s Arrival event was so much fun, with an overall turnout of more than 1,000 participants by the end of the day," said Marie Villarosa, Marketing and Events Manager. "Most of the children attending are part of our monthly 'Kid’s Club' and have been celebrating the holidays with us since they were in strollers. It’s such an amazing event for the kids to look forward to every year, and we’re already looking forward to 2020!

Following the sing-along parade, the children enjoyed a storybook reading by Mrs. Claus before writing letters to Santa, participating in raffle giveaways, and of course, singing holiday karaoke. This year marked the 11th annual Serramonte Center holiday event for the Claus duo, who also happens to be happily married in “real life.”
