When Michael Bull asked Mac to provide one tip to a tenant, investor or landlord, Mac responded: “If I were a retailer I would want to be in a center with a really engaged landlord. We hear all the time from our tenants, and it’s a compliment to us, but there are a handful of landlords that are engaged and they really get it, and partner with you and help you be successful. They are reinvesting in the architecture, making sure the other tenants are really complementary, and the connecting piece of it. So, long-term its a good partner to have is a really engaged landlord."
