Being in the Mile High City, Denver Broncos are a favorite in our house! We're always hoping for them to bring home a WIN. Whether you’re a sports fan or not, I think we can all agree on the fact that Football season has brought back some sort of “normalcy” for everyone. It just feels, well, not like most of 2020. Tailgating at football games has to be one of my favorite things — sometimes even more than the actual game. Even though we’re not tailgating in person this season, the feel of Fall, football on TV in the background while cooking up some fun game day snacks just makes us feel good, am I right? ![Reciupe ingredients surround a baking tray with uncooked Mac-N-Cheese bites](https://connect.regencycenters.com/hs-fs/hubfs/preview-full-BLOG%20PHOTO%20(4).jpg?width=1000&name=preview-full-BLOG%20PHOTO%20(4).jpg) Sunday is already a day filled with good food but we’re adding in some fun new recipes this year for game days. We stocked up at our local [King Soopers](http://www.kingsoopers.com) in Regency Centers' [Applewood Village](https://www.regencycenters.com/property/detail/90020/Applewood-Village) and put together something new. Let’s just say it became a touchdown game day bite – MAC-N-CHEESE BITES a la air fryer! (who doesn’t love a healthier version of a fan favorite!?) **Here’s what you’ll need:** - 4 cups leftover macaroni and cheese refrigerated (we had some homemade mac leftover from the night before, but any mac- n-cheese will work, especially any made with the elbow macaroni!) - 2 eggs - 2 Tbsp milk - 1 cup Japanese panko - 1 tsp salt - 1 tsp paprika - 1/2 tsp garlic powder **![Boy and dog pose next to tray of food; both are wearing Denver Broncos football team gear](https://connect.regencycenters.com/hs-fs/hubfs/preview-gallery-BLOG%20PHOTO%20(2).jpg?width=1000&name=preview-gallery-BLOG%20PHOTO%20(2).jpg)** **Instructions:** 1. Using your leftover refrigerated macaroni and cheese, take large chunks, about 2 tbsp, and roll into balls. Set aside. In a bowl, add egg and milk and whisk to combine. Then in another bowl, add panko breadcrumbs, salt, garlic powder, paprika, stir to combine. 2. Grab a macaroni and cheese ball and place in egg and milk mixture, coating the entire ball. Add to the panko mixture, then add to a lined parchment paper cookie sheet. Place in the freezer for 30 minutes. 3. Preheat your air fryer on 360 degrees. After the 30 minutes, remove the macaroni and cheese balls from the freezer and place them into air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure they don’t touch. Air fry for 8-10 minutes until light and golden on the outside. Remove, serve, and enjoy. ![Golden brown Mac-N-Cheese Bites are stacked on a plate next to a side dish of a cream sauce](https://connect.regencycenters.com/hs-fs/hubfs/preview-gallery-BLOG%20PHOTO.jpg?width=1000&name=preview-gallery-BLOG%20PHOTO.jpg) Add in a good Hail Mary + some Coca Cola and you’re set for a good game! *Learn more about Regency’s Ultimate Tailgate Takeout [here](https://www.regencycenters.com/ultimate-tailgate-takeout/)!* ##### Connect With Us [Join Our Mailing List](https://www.regencycenters.com/connect-with-us/)  > [Explore Our Markets](https://www.regencycenters.com/properties/our-markets)  > [Find a Space For Your Place](https://www.regencycenters.com/properties)  > ##### Related Stories [Oct 22 Regency's Ultimate Tailgate Takeout ft. @ashleynewell.me](https://connect.regencycenters.com/blog/tailgate-takeout-ft.-ashleynewell.me) [Oct 14 Regency's Ultimate Tailgate Takeout ft. @qruisinpch](https://connect.regencycenters.com/blog/tailgate-takeout-ft.-qruisinpch) [Jul 02 Strategic Leasing Expands Regency’s Colorado Portfolio](https://connect.regencycenters.com/blog/strategic-leasing-expands-regencys-colorado-portfolio) [Mar 05 CoStar Names Six Regency Employees to 2024 Annual Power Broker List](https://connect.regencycenters.com/blog/2024-annual-power-broker-list) [Jul 02 Strategic Leasing Expands Regency’s Colorado Portfolio](https://connect.regencycenters.com/blog/strategic-leasing-expands-regencys-colorado-portfolio) [Feb 20 Hacienda Colorado brings 'Mountain Mex' to Applewood Village](https://connect.regencycenters.com/blog/hacienda-colorado-brings-mountain-mex-to-applewood-village) [Jul 02 Strategic Leasing Expands Regency’s Colorado Portfolio](https://connect.regencycenters.com/blog/strategic-leasing-expands-regencys-colorado-portfolio) [Feb 20 Hacienda Colorado brings 'Mountain Mex' to Applewood Village](https://connect.regencycenters.com/blog/hacienda-colorado-brings-mountain-mex-to-applewood-village) [Aug 09 Regency Brings Home Two Gold & One Silver 2021 ICSC Maxi Awards](https://connect.regencycenters.com/blog/regency-2021-icsc-maxi-awards) [Nov 04 Regency's Ultimate Tailgate Takeout ft. @bruno.luca.doodles](https://connect.regencycenters.com/blog/regencys-ultimate-tailgate-takeout-ft.-bruno.luca.doodles) [Feb 05 Regency Centers Announces Lone Tree Village Development in Colorado](https://connect.regencycenters.com/blog/regency-centers-announces-lone-tree-village-a-king-soopers-anchored-retail-destination-serving-the-ridgegate-community) Subscribe [![Regency Centers](https://www.regencycenters.com/ResourcePackages/Regency/assets/dist/images/regency-centers.svg)](https://connect.regencycenters.com/) - [Careers](https://www.regencycenters.com/regency/careers) - [Investors](http://investors.regencycenters.com/) - [News](http://investors.regencycenters.com/news-releases) - [Fresh Look](https://www.regencycenters.com/regency/fresh-look) - [Tenants](https://www.regencycenters.com/tenants) - [Contact](https://www.regencycenters.com/contact) [Find a Property](https://www.regencycenters.com/properties) [Leasing Agent](https://www.regencycenters.com/contact) ![Reg Listed NYSE](https://connect.regencycenters.com/hubfs/blog2018/images/stock-ticker.svg) [Regency Centers Facebook](https://www.facebook.com/RegencyCenters) [Regency Centers Twitter](https://twitter.com/RegencyCenters) [Regency Centers Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/regencycenters/) [Regency Centers LinkedIn](https://www.linkedin.com/company/regency-centers/) MEMBER **S&P 500** Regency Centers is a preeminent national owner, operator, and developer of shopping centers located in suburban trade areas with compelling demographics. ©2026 Regency Centers [Terms of Service](https://www.regencycenters.com/terms-of-service) [Privacy Policy](https://www.regencycenters.com/privacy-policy) Cookie Settings ![Quantcast](https://pixel.quantserve.com/pixel/p-XHwFJLhjBpfmt.gif) ![](https://connect.regencycenters.com/hubfs/EMAIL%20SIZE-Nov-12-2020-02-42-23-74-PM.png) ```json { "@context" : "https://schema.org", "@type" : "BlogPosting", "author" : { "@type" : "Person", "name" : "Regency Centers", "url" : "https://connect.regencycenters.com/blog/author/regency-centers" }, "dateModified" : "2024-09-16T19:33:31.572Z", "datePublished" : "2020-11-12T14:43:10.000Z", "headline" : "Regency's Ultimate Tailgate Takeout ft. @stylemeblonde", "image" : [ "https://connect.regencycenters.com/hubfs/FEATURE%20%281250X729%29-Oct-21-2020-09-05-45-18-PM.png" ], "mainEntityOfPage" : { "@id" : "https://connect.regencycenters.com/blog/regencys-ultimate-tailgate-takeout-ft.-stylemeblonde", "@type" : "WebPage" }, "publisher" : { "@type" : "Organization", "logo" : { "@type" : "ImageObject", "url" : "/hs/hsstatic/content_shared_assets/static-1.4081/img/vast.png" }, "name" : "Regency Centers" } } ```
