For the 11th consecutive year, Regency Centers brought home a well-deserved First Coast Healthiest Companies award. Granted by Jacksonville’s First Coast Worksite Wellness Council, this esteemed accomplishment places us among the Bold City’s very best, and marks our fifth consecutive year winning the Platinum medal — the highest honor among the program’s various tiers.

Criteria for this accolade includes the demonstration of a serious commitment to employee health — specifically through the implementation of comprehensive worksite health promotion strategies — with a keen focus on wellness areas. Initiatives including our partnership with SimplyWell, complimentary health screenings, an annual health fair and Employee Assistance Program and Health Advocate are a few examples of our efforts that have resulted in this recognition.
"Our people are our most fundamental asset. We believe a healthy workforce is an engaged workforce so the well-being of our employees is a top priority for us," said Jamie Conroy, Regency Centers' Vice President of Human Resources. "We're fortunate to have a leadership team who is passionate about this and supports our well-being initiatives."
Recently, a number of Jacksonville-based employees participated in the YMCA's First Coast Games and annual downtown Corporate 5k Run. First Coast Games, which run from March 2 through June 8, pair companies against other local companies in several sporting events to vie for the overall title.
"I love getting involved whenever possible, especially when it has to do with being healthy or promoting healthy living," said Vinna Elabu, Senior Corporate Accountant. "I enjoy assisting with the annual Corporate 5k Run because it’s a great way for our employees to represent Regency, whether you are a runner or not."
