For the 14th year in a row, Regency Centers has been honored with a First Coast Healthiest Companies Award by Jacksonville’s First Coast Worksite Wellness Council (FCWWC). This is also its eighth consecutive year winning Platinum — the highest honor of the award — which places Regency among the very best in North Florida.
The First Coast Healthiest Companies Award honors companies who have demonstrated a serious commitment to employee health and wellbeing by implementing comprehensive worksite health promotion strategies that are focused on key wellbeing areas. According to FCWWC, platinum award winners have best-in-class wellness programs, and have truly created a culture of health and well-being throughout their organization. They have full leadership support and invest in necessary resources to strategically design, implement, and measure programs that show demonstrated improvement in the health and well-being of their employees.
The dedication and commitment of Regency’s leadership team when it comes to the health and wellbeing of our employees and their families is proven in this Platinum-level award,” said Reese Dowell, Senior Manager, Compensation and Benefits. “We offer a best-in-class program focusing on four pillars of wellbeing: Physical Health, Emotional Balance, Financial Security, and Connected Community. All of our benefit offerings fit into one or more of these four pillars, with a primary focus for employees and families to Live Well. Work Well. Be Well.
As recently highlighted in its 2021 Corporate Responsibility Report, Regency’s Benefits Committee strives to curate a health, wellness, and benefits package that is comprehensive, competitive, and thoughtfully designed to attract and retain the best in the business. In addition to hosting an annual Health Fair, providing an Employee Assistance Program, offering biometric screenings, and other incentives to maintain and encourage a healthy lifestyle, Regency partners with Virgin Pulse, an online platform that has provided employees with access to tools that focus on health and wellness education and awareness.

We’re always trying to change up and expand our wellness benefits package, and one thing I’m most proud of from 2021 is the roll-out of our first annual virtual health fair, which provided everyone in the company an opportunity to attend and participate, rather than only those in our headquarters,” said Lisa Buchillon, Benefits Administrator. “I will be the first to tell anyone how much I adore Regency’s benefits package — especially Virgin Pulse’s healthy habits: workouts, fitness trackers, nutrition education, and more. I am so proud to work with our HR and benefits committees to continue providing resources that enhance the health and wellbeing of our employees.
