Introducing The Crossing, Regency's Market Common Clarendon Reimagined

Introducing The Crossing: Arlington's premiere shopping destination, voted Best of Arlington multiple years running. Situated in a vibrant walking district between Ballston and Rosslyn, the neighborhood outdoor mixed-use center in the affluent community of Clarendon, VA was acquired by Regency Centers in 2017. This rebranding effort has been a meaningful part of Regency’s strategic plan to breathe fresh excitement into such a prominent asset, and we are thrilled to be seeing it come to life.

Formerly known as Market Common Clarendon Shopping Center, The Crossing boasts a mix of some of the most sought after national and regional merchants, local shops, and boutique services. With a refreshed brand voice designed to feel engaging and personable as well as bolster the center's reputation in the marketplace, The Crossing’s cutting-edge visual identity, typeface, and color palette pay tribute to the area's rich history, with a nod to its nostalgic bar and music scene of the 70’s.

andrew_kabat_headshotThe Crossing is the culmination of an exhaustive study into the soul of the shopping center: how it connects with the community now, and how we envision it growing alongside the community into the future,” said Andrew Kabat, Vice President, Market Officer. “The Regency team could not be more thrilled with this outcome.
