Just because Nordstrom has remained one of the leading upscale American department stores for over a century, doesn’t mean they won’t continue to reach new levels to stay above the fold. Enter their newest release: a Manhattan-based mecca for custom products, convenience and cocktails.Nordstrom opened the doors to its Manhattan flagship last week: a men’s department store located at the corner of Broadway and 57th Street. The shop is the first of two adjacent stores, with its female-focused counterpart scheduled to follow in fall 2019.
The store will now stand as the tangible home base for its NYC-situated online shoppers, which happen to be Nordstrom’s largest market for online sales. The in-store shopper’s paradise includes 24/7 in-store pick-up and curbside service, same-day delivery options and express returns, customizable product options, and the star of the show: a clubhouse bar featuring a sip-while-you-shop option.
