Regency's development pipeline continues to deliver high-quality, community-driven retail across the country, and the Northeast region is no exception. Three major ground-up projects have recently reached key milestones, marking the culmination of years of planning, partnership, and placemaking.
From New Jersey to Connecticut to Long Island, each property reflects Regency’s commitment to creating centers that combine strong anchors, modern design, and everyday convenience, building retail destinations that will serve communities for years to come.

Glenwood Green has officially wrapped construction, marking a major milestone for Regency’s Northeast portfolio. Anchored by Target and ShopRite, which both opened last year, the center celebrated the grand opening of its retail shops on September 28, followed the next day by the debut of the RWJ Barnabas Health Primary & Specialty Care building.
With its mix of retail, grocery, and healthcare, Glenwood Green brings an entirely new level of accessibility and convenience to the Old Bridge community.
The Shops at Stone Bridge (Cheshire, CT)

Momentum continues at The Shops at Stone Bridge, which is close to fully leased as construction nears completion. Barnes & Noble, Club Pilates, Chipotle, and Choice Pet recently opened their doors, joining a lineup that will include Whole Foods Market, which is projected to open in Spring 2026.
At 95% leased, the Stone Bridge merchandising mix features national favorites like TJ Maxx, Sephora, Starbucks, and Lovesac, plus local eateries Blu Pointe, Mercato, Blender Bar and Ramen & Bao, positioning the center as a one-stop destination for food, fitness, and fashion in the heart of Cheshire.
The Shops at Sunvet (Holbrook, NY)

Once an enclosed mall, The Shops at Sunvet has been transformed into an open-air retail hub designed for today’s consumer. Throughout the year, outparcel tenants such as Starbucks, Wonder, Citibank, Aspen Dental, and Wells Fargo have opened their doors, and most recently, Nordstrom Rack became the first tenant to open in the redeveloped main building.
Whole Foods Market is currently under construction on its interior buildout, rounding out a best-in-class tenant mix that combines daily needs, experiential shopping, and community-focused convenience.
Each of these developments showcases Regency's long-term investment strategy in action,” said Rebecca Wing, Vice President, Investments. “We’re focused on creating centers that not only meet the everyday needs of our tenants and shoppers but also enhance the vitality and value of the surrounding community. I would be remiss not to include a huge thank you to our many team members who have worked tirelessly on these developments over the years: Adam Jolly, David Sherin, John Fitzpatrick, Sean Mirkov, Liz Donley, Dan Williams, Billy Bishop, Michael Perkowski, Nick Stripp, Jack DeVilliers, Chris Widmayer, Ivan Do, and Jenn Mitchell, among many others.
From ground-up developments to full-scale redevelopments, Regency’s work across the Northeast reflects a consistent philosophy: create high-quality retail places that meet real community needs and deliver long-term value for tenants, partners, and neighborhoods alike.
