Ever thought about trying a Pure Barre class, but weren't sure if it was the right fit for you? Pure Barre has you covered. During the month of October, Pure Barre is popping up in unexpected places across the county, as a part of its national Pop-Up campaign. These unique and complimentary classes are taught outdoors, just as the weather starts to feel a bit more like fall.
Pure Barre Rockville, at Regency Centers' King Farm Village Center, is offering a 45-minute pop-up class on October 17.
Owner and operator Jill DeNinno describes the class concept, "Our upcoming Pop-Up class allows our studio the opportunity to connect with the Rockville community in a new way, and to take advantage of this beautiful fall weather," she explains. "At Pure Barre, we do not level our classes – any class on our schedule is great for beginners and veterans. The Pop-Up class will be the same structure [minus the bar], with modifications and advancements provided for those that need them. The class will remain approachable for new clients, but challenging enough for those that take class regularly."
Pure Barre is an instructor-led group fitness class that uses small movements to sculpt your arms, tone thighs, lift your seat and flatten your abs. The technique is based upon the principal of isometrics – small, isolated movements that work one muscle group at a time to the point of fatigue. A full schedule of classes is available on the Pure Barre website.
So bring your mat, water and a friend and try out the fitness class, sure to bring out your inner ballerina.
