If there is one kind of food that the South is famous for, it’s barbecue. For many, it’s a topic of much debate as to which state does this famous food preparation style the best. Even the definition of the word, “barbecue” is a controversial topic depending on where the chef, consumer, or culinary anthropologist is from.

Enter Q-BBQ, an incredible tenant residing at Regency Centers' Shops on Main shopping center in the Schererville, IN market. Instead of trying to take one approach to many styles of BBQ, they are taking the specialties from each region of the country and putting them into one meat-filled location.
Wings from Memphis, Kansas City burnt ends, Carolina pulled pork, and brisket prepared in traditional Texas style all populate the menu of this varied yet specialized menu.
Discovered by senior leasing agent Rick Spector, this unique tenant wasn’t sourced from a broker or trade show, but by the fact that Rick was a customer.
“Surprisingly or not surprisingly, there is a good amount of quality BBQ restaurants in Chicago. This operator’s original location is only a few miles away from the Chicago office and happened to be my favorite of them all. I had been going here for years and given the extremely strong QSR and restaurant sales at our development in Schererville, I thought BBQ (and especially Q-BBQ) was a perfect fit.”
