Seminole Shoppes Draws 600+ for Annual Customer Appreciation Event

Last weekend, Jacksonville’s beachside residents gathered at Seminole Shoppes for its annual birthday-turned-customer appreciation event, drawing more than 600 guests and a host of family-friendly festivities. The event serves as an annual opportunity for the center's merchants to meet their customers one-on-one, draw new foot traffic, and give back to the community through samples of their products and services.

From food tastings and dessert samples to various entertainment options, the free event featured a pony carousel and petting zoo, airbrush t-shirt painting stations, face painting and prize drawings — including two 175-watt wireless speakers. Community members of all ages enjoyed the opportunity to gain a new and fun perspective of some of the Seminole Shoppes merchants they already know and love.

Ann Gallaher HeadshotThe event was a great success and well-attended," said Ann Gallaher, Property Manager. "According to feedback from our merchants, the crowd nearly doubled from last year's event. We look forward to this event every year and have enjoyed watching it grow. It allows us to meet the people within our community and say 'thank you' in a positive and meaningful way. Next year Seminole Shoppes turns 10, and we’ll be planning an extra-special birthday celebration to mark the occasion!
