For years, the New York Cruisers have transformed our parking lot into a lively car show meet-up every Friday evening during the season. Classic car enthusiasts and community members gather to admire the gleaming vehicles, share stories, and connect with one another. But beyond the shiny exteriors and roaring engines lies something even more powerful: a mission to give back.
Driving Change: A Year of Impact
In 2024, the New York Cruisers had another standout year, fueled by their passion for community service. The funds raised during their car shows allowed them to:
- Provide Thanksgiving meals: Donating 50 turkeys and 15 bags of groceries to the local food bank
- Support education: Contributing to Green Chimneys School, a cherished local institution
- Aid children in need: Making a meaningful donation to Maria Fareri Children's Hospital
- Spread Easter cheer: Giving away 50 hams to brighten the holiday for local families
