5 Reasons to Visit the New BurgerFi at Brooklyn Station on Riverside

The wait is over, burger fans! BurgerFi is now open at Regency Centers’ development, Brooklyn Station on Riverside. The 3,000 SF fast-casual spot offers all-natural burgers, hot dogs, hand-cut French fries, oversized onion rings, thick frozen custards, and a variety of beer and wine. Outside of the drool-inducing eats, here are five cool features we discovered on our first visit that you should know:

  1. Keeping cool.
It’s Florida, and it feels like summertime about 360 days out of the year, so we were pleased to find a massive fan at the restaurant’s center. With a wingspan greater than 8 feet, it does the work of more than 28 standard ceiling fans at one-seventh the operating cost. Its maker, Big Ass Fans, aims to cut electricity costs and keep patrons comfortably cool. We can’t help but to agree.

  2. Communal table.
For a large group outing there’s no need to manually shuffle tables around or politely ask people to move to accommodate your group. There’s a long, rectangular communal table that can easily sit a dozen or more people, evidenced below. Can someone pass the ketchup, please?

  3. Availability of local brews.
We know craft beer is hot right now. Located in the heart of emerging Brooklyn, BurgerFi is a mere jaunt—less than two miles—from local breweries Intuition Ale Works and Bold City Brewery. Cold cans of beer from each brewery are available, and Bold City’s popular Duke’s Cold Nose Brown Ale is on draft. Cheers!

  4. Bike parking.
How many times have you ventured out to eat on your bicycle and had nowhere to park? Pedestrian-friendly Brooklyn Station on Riverside offers bike parking next to BurgerFi's outdoor patio, convenient for locking up your trusted set of wheels. And with two new residential developments open next door, The Brooklyn and 220 Riverside, it’s guaranteed to be utilized.

  5. The name.
Thought we had it all figured out. BurgerFi = burgers + wi-fi, right? Not so fast. The name, according to BurgerFi’s co-founders, is short for ‘burgerfication of the nation.’ Clever. Who knew?
