Burtons Grill to Open at Regency's Carytown Exchange in Richmond, VA

Regency's Carytown Exchange is excited to welcome Burtons Grill — a restaurant with coastal, New England roots known for its fresh seafood, high-quality meats, and bountiful vegetables — to the Richmond, VA shopping center, with a projected opening in Summer 2023.

This marks the restaurant's nineteenth location since its Massachusetts flagship opened in 2005 — and joins Virginia's Alexandria, Charlottesville, and Sterling, as well as locations in Maryland, South Carolina, North Carolina, Florida, Connecticut, and New Hampshire. Each Burtons Grill opens with the mission of working hand-in-hand with the community in which it operates, and this location is no different, boasting deep roots in Virginia.

Chief Executive Officer, John Haggai, has lived in Richmond since 2005, where he has been deeply involved in various aspects of the food, restaurant, and business community for the past 18+ years.

While every opening is personal, this one is significant," said Haggai. "Richmond is my home. Having the opportunity to bring one of our restaurants to my hometown in-tandem with Regency Centers holds special weight.

Focusing on contemporary seasonal American cooking, Burtons Grill is home to scratch kitchens using only the freshest ingredients. The restaurant's forward-thinking culinary approach results in thoughtful menus, and caters to various dietary preferences. Its beverage program offers a highly curated craft beer, wine, and cocktail list, and its polished, casual atmosphere features modern lines and natural materials, in a warm color palette that is perfect for all dining needs.
