After several years of strategic planning, Regency’s newly renamed and rebranded Westport Row shopping center in Westport, CT recently underwent an extensive redevelopment. Formerly known as The Village Center, and with updates including a façade facelift, widened sidewalk, increased parking and safer drive aisles, the center is new and improved, down to the studs.
Customers and merchants have been very appreciative of the design by local architect Rick Hoag,” said Rebecca Wing, Senior Manager, Investments. “He did a great job creating a place the community is proud of.
Home to a winning combination of local and national merchants and with an overall goal of better embodying Regency’s Fresh Look philosophy, Westport Row blends top-tier merchandising, placemaking and connecting. By giving each storefront a unique look, improving the sidewalk experience with sunshades and planters and adding popular restaurants and fitness to the mix, the new center provides an enhanced experience for the whole community.
We couldn’t be happier with the recent renovations at Westport Row, said Sean Mirkov, Leasing Agent. “The positive feedback we’ve received from the local community as well as prospective merchants has been profound and very welcomed. We’re looking forward to announcing new merchants, which will bring more of the Westport community to Westport Row.
Located just a half-mile from downtown in the highly affluent community of Westport, Westport Row is anchored by a star-studded merchant lineup including Fresh Market, Drybar, Physique 57, The Little Beet, Orangetheory Fitness and Free People, etc.
