Regency is excited to announce that Sur La Table is coming to Persimmon Place, in Dublin, CA. Sur La Table is the best-in-class retailer for the ultimate cook.

Sur la Table is French for "on the table," which should give you a relative picture of the kinds of products they offer (or just see for yourself). It isn't just the type of items you can purchase in the store, but the quality, range, and extra services on the side. Or, as Senior Vice President of Investments, Pete Knoedler, states, "They are a unique culinary retailer you typically only see in malls or high profile retail districts."

Pete and Doug Shaffer, Senior Vice President and Senior Market Officer are the movers behind Persimmon Place; a ground-up development located on the outskirts of the San Francisco bay area that is already being hailed for upping the notch of the area's dining and shopping experience. As Pete describes it, "Persimmon Place isn't a typical center with the typical retailers you commonly see. We've been building a unique merchandising mix of local and regional operators that are really going to make people want to shop and dwell around here for a long time."

"Brand recognition," Pete explains. "They want to be known as a certain type of store, and they are. It's the perfect fit for the center."

So, what exactly is Sur la Table bringing to "la table?" Outside of the products listed above, they are offering an incredible selection of cooking classes, date night ideas, and international spotlights for their customers to participate in. Everything from a Grilled Pizza Workshop, Tasty Thai at Home, Date Night: French Riviera, and customer favorites like Learn to Cut Like a Pro, Seafood on the Grill, and French Patisserie.

"This is a fantastic pairing with Whole Foods Market," continued Doug. "They both attract exactly the kind of customer we're looking for, and we know that the surrounding trade areas are going to love this pairing."

"This center is a celebration of the Bay Area's local food and wine culture," continued Pete. "We have a powerful foodie culture here, and that's what we've built into our merchandising mix, all-around."

Scheduled to open in the fall of this year, Sur la Table will be joining the impressive line-up of Nordstrom Rack, Whole Foods Market, Starbucks, Homegoods, Urban Plates, Paxti's Pizza, Chipotle, Orange Theory Fitness, Yalla, The Habit Burger Grill, Monaco Hair and Nails, Hand and Stone Massage and Facial, Lunchbox, Vitality Bowls, Verizon Wireless, and Pacific Catch.
