Together

Part two of our focus on the motivation of our newest ad concepts. We hope you enjoy!

It’s a picture perfect Saturday morning. I was so eager for our trip to Westlake Plaza that I laid out all of our outfits the night before to ensure perfect color coordination. As our family walks out the door looking like a page out of a magazine, I think to myself, “This is going to be a great day.”

When we arrive at the center, it’s hard to decide where to go first. I see the look on my husband’s face and I can tell he’s reading my mind - coffee and food. With a center like Westlake Plaza, we have many options for both. We decide to visit The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf situated right by the freshly updated courtyard area, complete with fire pits, comfortable seating and shade from a string of pergolas.

After breakfast, we walk around the center to check out all of the new retailers and our longstanding favorites. My husband recalls needing to grab a shaving product from the new 18 | 8 Fine Men’s Salon and drifts off while the kids and I continue to walk and enjoy the breezy paseos.

When my husband returns, I am surprised to see him holding a M. Fredric bag; inside, the package contained the pair of jeans my daughter had been eyeing since she saw them in the storefront. The look on her face is priceless; I am so happy for her and even prouder of my husband for getting her the right pair!

We continue walking. My son, being the science enthusiast he is, suggests we visit to the Ice Cream Lab, where they use liquid nitrogen to instantly freeze the cream. Since my earliest memories, ice cream shops have been a place of gathering, so how could I deny him the chance to create a delicious experiment? Not to mention, I could use a scoop of chocolate.

Before we know it, the day has slipped away and it’s time for a late lunch, or early dinner for those who prefer. Again, good thing we are at Westlake Plaza, because there are many options for that as well. I look at my family and think, “This isn’t just a great day, it’s an exceptional day.” I am so grateful we were able to share it together.
