Last week, Regency Centers announced its partnership with Feeding Northeast Florida’s new Corner Market food pantry. Along with the Jacksonville Jaguars, PepsiCo and Publix, Regency joins Pajcic & Pajcic Law Firm, Cadillac, Stahl Meyer Foods and All Elite Wrestling as supporting community partners of this initiative, which will provide food and product for 1,200 families in their own neighborhoods with an aim to help decrease food insecurity in the community.
As supporting partners, Regency will sponsor ten distribution days of the 2020-2021 Corner Market, which will serve high-quality produce, lean meats, and other essential items. This mobile market will operate on a street-by-street level, and help to provide individualized food services to families in the Jacksonville community.
Regency Centers is proud to work with Feeding Northeast Florida and its partners on such a unique and impactful initiative,” said Kirrin Winning, Senior Manager, Corporate Responsibility. “We are humbled to play a part in helping bring more food security to those who need it most — now more than ever.
By working with local grocery stores, manufacturers and farms to rescue high-quality food that would normally be wasted, Feeding Northeast Florida provides for local children and families, seniors and active and retired military members who struggle to put food on the table.
